Dr Rita Cruz has a degree in Occupational Therapy.

He is currently attending Postgraduate Diploma in Upper Limb Reeducation/Hand Therapy.

As an occupational therapist your goal is to empowering the individual for the occupation of to promote its health, well-being, quality of life and functionality.

It uses specific approaches and techniques in order to restore sensorimotor, cognitive and/or socio-emotional skills, prevent dysfunctions and/or compensate for lost functions.

It intervenes by adapting and graduating the occupation to suit the person's abilities, facilitating their involvement and participation.
